I always like coming here. There is free entertainment between the baseball/soccer fields next door, the dog park, and the elevated train in the distance. It’s always extremely empty, and even though there’s a decent toddler section, it seems fine to let your little one play in the big area without too many others running around. The slides are fun! Just need to make sure your smol child doesn’t go down the firepersons’ pole without supervision.
The park was originally known as Williamsburg Park, but renamed to Lindsay Park in 1925. It was renamed again in 1990 after Frances Hamburger Sternberg
