Not Your Nanny's Review

There were a few cool aspects of this park: the musical butterfly and the slide built into an embankment. Unfortunately those are 2/4 of the entire playground, and the rest is the group of sad little tunnels pictured above. Maybe it was under construction and they’ll add more for next year?

Playground Papa's Review

We were looking for a quick and easy playground after lunch. Unfortunately, the online photos didn't live up to expectations.

Several entrances to the playground were closed, but we could see people playing in it. We ended up sliding down the embankment to get in. Once we were there, it proved really disappointing.

The few pieces of equipment were run down. The other parents agreed that it seemed like something was missing.

Also the general store across the street had a bad candy selection.

About the Playground

First built in the 1970s, the playground was the heart of the community until a renovation effort replaced the equipment with empty space. A renovation is planned.
