Playground Papa's Review

This small playground packs a punch with plenty of different things to do on a single structure.

The equipment in this playground is a bit on the older side, but it's in good condition, and packs a lot of stuff into a small space. Newer playgrounds tend to have less happening, fewer activities, but this one is full of stairs and platforms and slides.

Considering how small it is, our toddler was pretty well entertained.

There's a modest splash pad area with a button activation, but its also sort of in the middle of the playground so not much avoiding the water when it's turned on.

Modern playgrounds should consider how this style of equipment serves many needs in a tiny space.

About the Playground

The playground is operated jointly by the Parks and Schools, with the most recent renovation costing $1m in 1990. The larger park includes a statue of Socrates.
