Reviews

Not Your Nanny's Review

So cool and unique. Do not bend your mind trying to figure out if the subway signs match up with reality in any way (they don’t). It’s very specific though - if your kid likes the subway station installation, cool! If not, there’s not much else.

The water part feels more like someone forgot to turn off one of those giant suburban pipes and it’s accidentally flooding the street. But overall it’s kind of fun and overgrown, like someone built this park and then everyone forgot about it in a fun way (the beginning of Jumangi, not the end).

Yeah, it's cool.

About the Playground

The park was named for Justice Gilbert Ramirez who was the first Puerto Rican elected to the New York State Assembly. Blinded at the age of 24, he worked as a lawyer and eventually was sworn in a justice on the state Supreme Court.
