An older model playground, there is plenty to do for smaller children but older children may not find it stimulating.
The equipment is well-worn and showing its age, but it wasn't broken like some playgrounds we've seen. The sandbox probably needs more sand but there are plenty of sand toys. The sandbox proved the main attraction for our toddler, and most of the children in the playground.
There were a lot of tire swings with a unique configuration I haven't seen elsewhere.
There’s not much shade here and most of the seating is in the sun. But it’s in a shallow depression surrounded by woods, so you don’t hear any road traffic. It’s probably fairly insect heavy at dusk based on the standing water and vegetation around it.
Overall this was kind of a boring playground, but since our toddler was content to play in the sand it gave us some time to relax. I wish I had brought a book.
