An enormous playground serving Hudson County with plenty of interesting features in it.
My wife grew up going to this playground as a kid, so over the winter break we had to make a stop with grandpa. This was a fun playground with lots of different themes.
The "city" portion of the playground has a climbing structure that looks like some famous New York City buildings and bridges. Underneath are small train cars that kids can sit in. Our toddler insisted we all sit in them with him.
Another section was themed like a medieval castle with lots of slides, and next to that was a pirate ship. Both these structures were fun, but less appealing to our toddler who is primarily interested in trains.
This park has its share of weird climbing things that kids don't really know what to do with too. There were swings and splash pads and even some shaded areas with tables. Overall this was a huge playground in the center of the park.
The park was initially founded in 1910 and later named for World Heavyweight Boxing Champion James J. Braddock.
