An impressive playground considering the size, there were many different elements.
The big attraction here was a viking ship set on a motion block that can moves back and forth and sways with the weight of people on it. There is a slight elmeent of danger here as if it moves too much, a child could fall over -- but that's the appeal.
We rocked the boat back and forth, and with an adult's weight, it can really move. It didn't quite make up for the missing pirate ship that was recently ripped out of downtown Naple's Central Park, but it was pretty fun nevertheless.
There were slides and climbing equipment to keep a four-year-old entertained for a bit, and the ramps would have been good for yonger children too.
There wasn attempt at some sensory equipment, but overall this will probably be disappointing to children who like instruments and sensory panels.
There was a strange looking globe that I wasn't sure what it was supposed to do.
There was a small parking lot for the recreation center and playground, which is essential in a place with limited public transportation.
The playground is across the street from the community center.
