The playground is part of a larger park complex making it a perfect place to play during a longer outing.
The whole complex is a nice place to spend some time, especially if it's a bit too cold on the beach. The windmill will sometimes have tours, and the butterfly garden has a lot of local flowers. The perimeter of the field has a path accessible for strollers too.
Our toddler enjoyed the wooden store, mostly because there was a tot-sized table inside he was allowed to climb. There were some hornets around the roof of this structure, and it looked like maybe there was a nest somewhere in it too.
There are too main pieces of climbing equipment, and younger children overall will probably find amusement in the actual playground.
Our toddler enjoyed the spring-loaded animals, but still struggled to get on and off himself since they are a little high off the ground. He may had had particular affection for the seahorse because that week he was obsessed with them after we borrowed Sea Horse: The Shyest Fish in the Sea from the library.
The playground is hidden behind the little cottage on the main driveway. We first came here with an infant, long before he was ready for a playground, and despite exploring the grounds hadn't realized the playground was here. We'd definitely stop by here again as its both a lovely park and a decent playground.
The playground is part of a historic village.
