We spent Mother's Day at my in-laws, and in the late afternoon as the clouds had cleared, we took a short constitutional walk to my wife's childhood playground. What's nice is even at 6pm on a Sunday, the bathrooms were open – that's a big difference from NYC playgrounds where even when the signs say they should be open, the bathrooms are usually closed. Although oddly we've tried coming here and found the gates to the playground locked up entirely without much explanation.
The musical instruments – chimes, drums, ect – have seen better days. One was broken off, but ironically this was the only one with a drumstick attached to it. The slides were a bit wet from the rain, but we still had fun riding on the spring-loaded horse.
